Come Holy Spirit

Day 13: Faithfulness (fruit of the Holy Spirit)

1 Thessalonians 5:23, 24 May the God of peace himself make you perfectly holy and may you entirely, spirit, soul, and body, be preserved blameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  The one who calls you is faithful, and he will also accomplish it.

God has not called me to be successful; God has called me to be faithful. – Mother Teresa

Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies. – Mother Teresa

It is good to serve God in darkness and trial! We have only this life to live by faith. -St. Teresa of child Jesus

Reflection: How can I grow in my faithfulness to God?

  • Read scriptures everyday to know His promises made to you.
  • Commit to spending time in adoration and follow His commandments.
  • Be obedient to the Holy Spirit’s guidance and pray constantly.

Prayer: Abba Father, I thank you for the being faithful to Your promises to me. No matter what life brings, help me to be unwavering in my faithfulness to You as well as the people around me.

Scripture declaration:

God of peace will make me holy and bring me to perfection; I will be completely blameless in spirit, soul and body till the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: He who called me is Faithful and will do it - 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 24

I will be patient in doing the will of God, and the promises will be mine. Hebrews 10:36
