Day 40; Holy Spirit – Creator, divine architect  

Hebrews 11:9 -10 By faith he sojourned in the promised land as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs of the same promise; for he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and maker is God. 

I have also largely demonstrated, that the Word, namely the Son, was always with the Father; and that Wisdom also, which is the Spirit, was present with Him, anterior to all creation, He declares by Solomon: “God by Wisdom founded the earth, and by understanding has He established the heaven. By His knowledge the depths burst forth, and the clouds dropped down the dew.” Proverbs 3:19-20 And again: “The Lord created me the beginning of His ways in His work: He set me up from everlasting, in the beginning, before He made the earth, before He established the depths, and before the fountains of waters gushed forth; before the mountains were made strong, and before all the hills, He brought me forth.” And again: “When He prepared the heaven, I was with Him, and when He established the fountains of the deep; when He made the foundations of the earth strong, I was with Him preparing [them]. I was He in whom He rejoiced, and throughout all time I was daily glad before His face, when He rejoiced at the completion of the world, and was delighted in the sons of men.” Proverbs 8:27-31. There is therefore one God, who by the Word and Wisdom created and arranged all things (St Irenaus, Against Heresies, Book IV, Chapter 20) 

Holy Spirit, the divine architect is at work in all things right from the beginning of creation, down to very details of each life. Holy Spirit is planning, orchestrating and organizing all things, including details of our life according to His plan.

Holy Spirit is preparing our hearts and building His temple in our hearts to offer worship that is pleasing to Him. Seek Him in truth, learn His ways, keep His commandments, and enter into a deeper relationship with Him in prayer and see His hand at work in your life. Every detail of your life is a part of His great big plan, not just a co-incidence. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your spiritual eyes so you can see and give Him glory always. 

Things were in God’s plan which I had not planned at all.
