Day 7: Love (fruit of the Holy Spirit)

Romans 5:5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

“A single act of pure love pleases me more than a thousand imperfect prayers.” Jesus (According to St. Faustina)

Often when I feel dry do I run to my Father who is ready to pour His Love into my wounded heart?

Am I seeking love to be poured into my heart from worldly sources and being repeatedly disappointed?

Do I realize that I can be the source of the Father’s love to my neighbor?

Prayer: Abba Father, help me to understand the parable of the good samaritan deeply. Help me to always first seek to fill myself with your love first. For if I am filled with your love, I can bear all disappointments, I can even pour out your love to others when I am wounded.
