Day 9: Peace of the Holy Spirit (fruit of the Holy Spirit)

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.

“Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, not even if your whole world seems upset. If you find that you have wandered away from the shelter of God, lead your heart back to Him quietly and simply.” – St. Francis de Sales

Reflection: When have you felt the peace of the Lord?

Prayer:
Abba Father, I come to you with our troubled heart [Name anything that is troubling you}
Jesus, Son of David have mercy on me for I am a sinner. I often forget that I am your child and try to do things my way. Forgive me for not putting my trust in you on everything I need in my life. You are my provider, you are my healer, you are my deliverer. Fill me with the grace to trust you in both good and bad times. Fill me with your divine peace. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!
